The iPad mini 7 features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display using IPS LCD technology. The screen has a resolution of 2266 × 1488 pixels which gives it about 326 ppi density. It supports P3 wide color, True Tone, and a fully laminated design with ultra-low reflectivity (approx. 1.8 %) to reduce glare. The display can reach 500 nits brightness under typical conditions. It supports the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) for writing, drawing, and note taking directly on the screen.
Camera
On the rear, the iPad mini 7 is equipped with a 12 MP Wide camera with an ƒ/1.8 aperture, autofocus with Focus Pixels, and a quad-LED True Tone flash. It supports Smart HDR 4, panorama, and 4K video recording at 60 fps.
On the front, there is also a 12 MP Ultra Wide / front camera (ƒ/2.4) used for video calls, selfies, and features like Center Stage (which keeps you centered during video calls).
Performance
This iPad mini 7 is powered by Apple’s A17 Pro chip. It contains a 6-core CPU (2 performance cores + 4 efficiency cores) and a 5-core GPU.
